There is so much for you to discover at Manchester and we’ve created a host of virtual content that allows you to explore the University at a time, place and pace that suits you.

Health protection is a key domain in public health and has been in the spotlight more than ever over the last 18 months. Join Dr Justin Webb, course leader for our Public Health MSc, to explore some of the key health protection issues we’re facing today. During this interactive seminar you’ll be introduced to the importance of health protection in the field of public health. Topics covered in this session include communicable disease control, emergency preparedness, resilience and response and environmental public health. This online session will begin at 4pm with a presentation and taster lecture. After that, you’ll have the opportunity to ask Dr Webb any questions and to participate in a group discussion on any of the key topics raised.

Our undergraduate Virtual Open Days give you the opportunity to find out about the University. You can meet other students, chat to academics, attend sample lectures and join a virtual accommodation tour. We run over 250 undergraduate courses, all of which are represented on Open Days. Our interactive virtual events are a great way to discover more about our courses, campuses, employability service and flexible study options. As well as Open Days, we also have a range of careers workshops and Q&A sessions available.

Our Open Day includes: A welcome to NUA overview, Course specific talks, Campus tours led by Student Ambassadors, Accommodation Tours, Finance and accommodation talks, Portfolio preparation sessions- take a step-by-step look at preparing an arts, design, architecture or media portfolio. All visitors receive a guide to take away with them to help perfect their portfolio.

Our Virtual Open Days taking place on 17 and 19 June are a great way to get a feel for our University – in fact, 100% of our attendees rated their virtual visit as good or excellent.

Live subject talks: There’s a full schedule of live talks to choose from. You’ll be able to attend sessions for the subjects you’re interested in. These talks are the perfect opportunity to interact with other attendees and our expert academics, through comments and Q&A sessions. Support sessions: There will be live support sessions and workshops ran by our support services teams, including talks on financial support, accommodation, student life and personal statements. Connect in real-time: Get your questions answered, and find out what it’s really like to be a student at Bradford by chatting live to our current students, academics and support staff.

We may not be able to meet you in person right now, but we can bring LJMU to you. Our virtual open days are the perfect opportunity to research your options and explore the fantastic opportunities available to you at LJMU. You will have the chance to:

• Join live course sessions led by our academic staff and admissions teams
• Learn about student life in Liverpool and hear from current students
• Find out more about accommodation, fees and funding and student support

Royal Holloway’s on-campus, Visit Experiences offer an informative and personalised introduction to the university. One of our friendly Student Ambassadors will give you a campus tour, with just your household and possibly one other (if legal restrictions allow), and then you will have the opportunity to speak to representatives from academic departments and key support services. The event will last approximately two hours in total.

At this virtual event you will be able to find out more about the subject area(s) you are interested in, chat online to our staff and student ambassadors and take part in our virtual campus and accommodation tours. Information for 2021 entry: If you are looking to join us in September 2021, whilst the information contained in the talks relates to 2022 entry, you are very welcome to join the virtual campus and accommodation tours and chat to staff and students about any questions you have.

Our Open Days will be conducted in line with the latest official guidance from the UK Government and other relevant authorities and we will therefore be offering these as virtual events until further notice and as always we will continue to ensure your health, safety and well being while delivering a first-class educational experience.
