An independent arts university in the centre of Norwich, Norwich University of the Arts (NUA), is located in the heart of Norwich. With gallery space and computer suites, it is amongst the United Kingdom's best arts schools.

 

Background and History

NUA's history goes back to 1845, when the Norwich School of Design opened. In 1965, the School began offering a diploma in Art and Design, and it became an arts school in 1994. In 2007, NUA gained the power to award degrees and was renamed the Norwich University of the Arts.

Location and Accessibility

The University can be reached via direct train from London in two hours, with trains departing and arriving every half hour. Norwich can be reached via the South through the M11, A11, A12 and from the North via the A14, A47, and M1.

The campus is wheelchair accessible.
