This free online set of six sessions for Years 10-13 aims to raise your attainment in Biology GCSE, A level or equivalent, through introducing you to inspiring role models and covering curriculum-linked content. It builds on the Biology Champions Programme from 2021. The first session starts after Biology Week, in October. The sessions will take place every Monday night, from 5.30-6.30pm online; you will receive joining links prior to each session.

An Open Day is a great way to find out exactly what a university can offer you. You’ll get to chat to the lecturers and current students and find out all about the subjects that interest you. Here’s what you can expect from our Open Day: Welcome talk – our Deputy Vice-Chancellor will give you a warm welcome to Huddersfield. Campus tours. Watch live course talks, learn about module options and placement/sandwich opportunities. Accommodation – explore your accommodation options and go on an accommodation tour. Student support – find out all about the support available to you including finance, disability and wellbeing, and careers. Chat to our students – get the lowdown on student life at Huddersfield. Coming to an Open Day will help you gather all the information you need to help you decide what and where you would like to study. Our modern Brayford Pool campus is located in the heart of the city, which means that almost everything you’ll need during your time with us is just a short walk away. A beautiful and historic city, Lincoln has a variety of attractions and amenities, from its bustling Cornhill Quarter and high street showcasing an array of well-known retailers and eateries, to the charming Bailgate and Steep Hill area where there are plenty of places for you to spend time outside of study, such as independent cafes and bookshops, and boutique stores.

RGU’s Open Day is open to those who are interested in applying to start in September 2023. We are happy to announce this event will be on-campus! Our open events are a brilliant opportunity to explore our programmes, apprenticeships and professional courses, check out our industry-standard classrooms and workshops and talk to the staff who will teach and support you during your time with us here at the College.

You’ll get the chance to hear from our lecturers about the course you’re interested in and you can chat with our students about life at Leeds Trinity. You’ll also get advice on your UCAS application and student finance. You will get to explore our green campus, sports facilities, industry-standard studios, on-campus accommodation and social spaces with a virtual tour.

Open days are suitable whether you are looking to study an undergraduate programme or postgraduate course. Attending an open day provides an opportunity for you, and your family, to see our beautiful campus. Student guides will take you on a tour of the halls of residence and faculty buildings, highlighting the wide range of impressive facilities and resources we offer. You will discover why the campus has been ranked best in the North West and in the top five in the UK for university facilities (WhatUni Student Choice Awards 2020) and been recognised as one of the world’s best green spaces for nine successive years (Green Flag Award 2020). During the day, you can speak personally with course tutors, attend subject presentations, take tours of subject-based facilities and engage in practical activities. You will discover everything you need to know about the student experience at Edge Hill. Staff will also be on hand to advise about the application process, accommodation, understanding fees and finance, and planning for your future career. You will also have the opportunity to see our stunning 400-acre estate and state-of-the-art learning facilities. There will be refreshments available from our pop-up Cafe run by onsite caterers BaxterStorey throughout the event. We have free parking on site, as you arrive you will be directed to the nearest available parking spaces. If you have not already done so, you will also have the opportunity to apply for a course – you might even have your interview there and then. We advise arriving no later than 30 minutes prior to the end of your booked time slot to make the best use of your time with us on the day.
