Our undergraduate Open Days give you the opportunity to find out about the University. You can meet other students, chat to academics, visit your academic subject of choice and view our accommodation in person. We run over 250 undergraduate courses, all of which are represented on Open Days. The events generally run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and will give you the chance to explore your degree options, college choices and find out about the wider student experience and support services. If you’re considering applying to start your studies in 2023 then come and visit us for one of our Open Days and get a real feel for what it would be like to be a student at Coventry University. Our careers in maritime open day will give you an insight into what a career in the maritime industry has to offer, and the training programmes to qualify as a ship’s navigation (deck), engineer or electro-technical officer in the Merchant Navy and on superyachts. Many of the major British shipping companies and recruitment and training companies who recruit cadets will be available to give information about the career opportunities they offer. Our teaching staff are also on hand to talk about the academic side of training. You’ll also be able to take a tour of our campus and residences, join a variety of general presentations and speak to our teams about accommodation options, applying and enrolling, student support, funding and much more! Our Higher Education Open Events are held at our Southend Campus in Southend-on-Sea town centre.
