Address and Location

Trinity St. David students may be based on one of two campuses in Carmarthen or Lampeter, South-West Wales. Both locations are close to the countryside and extremely cost-effective to live in. The university has also recently founded a third campus in South London, an extension of its successful business school.

Background and History

Although the University of Trinity St. David was only established in 2010, the roots of the institution stretch back to the early nineteenth century and the founding of Lampeter college. Some years later an adjoining campus was created in Camarthen, a merger with Swansea Metropolitan University and the University of Wales followed in 2011.

Location and Accessibility

Carmarthen

By Road: Motorists should head along the M4, exiting at Junction 49 and following the A48 until the university is signposted.

By Rail: Regular services run to Camarthen station from the rest of the UK. The university is a short walk from the station.

Lampeter

By Road: Motorists should head along the M4, exiting at Junction 49 and following the A48 until signs for Lampeter and the A485 appear.

By Rail: Camarthen station is closest to the Lampeter campus; students will need to catch a bus to the site.

London

By Road: Navigating the capital's roads can be tricky and parking tight. Leave the M25 at Junction 8, and follow the A23 into the centre of the city.

By Rail: Oval is the closest Tube station to the campus, which is situated inside Kennington Park.

Accessibility: Building regulations have restricted the provision of disabled facilities in the university's older buildings. St. David's modern facilities have been designed with disabled users in mind, however. University staff are very willing to make necessary timetable adjustments and provide support to those who require it.
