How to find T-Levels near you

Not every college offers every T-Level. Use the gov.uk T-Level course finder to search by postcode and subject. If your local college doesn’t offer the T-Level you want, check neighbouring areas – you may be able to travel.

T-Levels vs other qualifications

T-Levels sit alongside A-Levels and apprenticeships – they don’t replace them. T-Levels are technical + placement, A-Levels are academic + breadth, apprenticeships are employment + training. You can’t easily mix T-Levels with A-Levels (a T-Level is a full-time programme).

For the full comparison, read our guides on T-Levels vs A-Levels and T-Levels vs apprenticeships. For UCAS points, see our T-Level UCAS points guide.

What’s NOT available as a T-Level

There’s currently no T-Level in sport, performing arts, social sciences, humanities, languages, or pure maths/sciences. For these subjects, A-Levels or BTECs remain the main options. The T-Level rollout is ongoing – more subjects may be added in future years.

Frequently asked questions

There are currently 23 T-Level subjects available across England, covering construction, digital, health, engineering, business, creative, and more. New subjects are added each year as the programme rolls out.
