University Open Days

Come to one of our Open Days on Wednesday 30 June, Saturday 3 July, Wednesday 22 September, Saturday 6 November or Saturday 4 December and get a taste for undergrad life in Portsmouth. We’ll help you explore our island city, student life and the University.

Discover your subject, find out more about the courses we offer, chat with our students and staff, take a campus tour, discover London and learn all about becoming a student with us. This summer we have a number of different events planned for all of our subject areas. You can choose to visit us on campus* or attend online, either way our events will provide you with everything you will need to know about studying at Queen Mary. *subject to successful government road map implementation

An Open Day is a great way to find out exactly what a university can offer you. You’ll get to chat to the lecturers and current students and find out all about the subjects that interest you. Here’s what you can expect from an Open Day: Welcome talk – our Deputy Vice-Chancellor will give you a warm welcome to Huddersfield. Watch live course talks, learn about module options and placement opportunities. Accommodation – explore your accommodation options. Student support – find out all about the support available to you including finance, disability and wellbeing, and careers. Chat to our students – get the lowdown on student life at Huddersfield

Ongoing measures to tackle COVID-19 mean we can’t hold open days on campus at the moment, but we still want you to experience what it’s like to live and study here at UEA.

That’s why we’ve launched our first ever Virtual Open Day, which you can attend at any time without leaving the comfort of your home. We can’t wait to welcome you and show you around. Here is just a glimpse of what you can expect:

• You’ll receive a warm welcome from both our students and Vice Chancellor before working your way through our recommended programme at your leisure.
• You’ll also have access to in depth talks about the subjects you’re interested in studying
• You can take a virtual tour of our diverse and beautiful campus, immersing yourself in campus life through many of our key landmarks and hotspots for yourself
• You’ll be able to explore 360 degree footage of our campus accommodation, teaching facilities, library and more
• You will even have the chance to discover Norwich, the city we are proud to call home – through exploring some of our students’ favourite unique spots.

`Our Undergraduate Open Days give you the perfect opportunity to hear first-hand from our current students and teaching staff about living and learning in Birmingham. Subject to Government guidance we are planning for our summer Open Days to take place on Friday 2 July and Saturday 3 July 2021 between 9am and 4pm.

We’re still hoping to offer you a bespoke on-campus experience in the future, and we will provide an update on this as soon as we can. However, if things don’t quite go to plan by July, we will still be able to offer our Digital Open Day – an interactive experience that you can enjoy from the comfort of home, with live streams, course talks, Q&As, and the chance to hear first-hand from tutors and current students.

This Open Event is for students looking to start university in September 2022. You will have the opportunity to find out more about your course for example modules, assessments, teaching, trips and entry requirements. Additionally, you will be guided around our campus using our virtual tour and you will be able to ask some of our current students any questions you might have about Student Life.

The thought of starting university can be quite daunting so our open days are run to help you understand what the courses involve, what to expect from them and how they can help you get the career you want. If you want to get a better sense of what studying with us might be like, either full-time or part-time, our open days are a good place to start. During the day, you will have the opportunity to: – find out more about the courses that we offer – speak to members of academic and support staff – hear from our current students on their experiences at the University – view the facilities at our West London Campus.

Our Virtual Open Days are a fantastic way to meet our staff and students. Join us on Saturday 3 July from 10.00 – 15.00 (BST) to find out why Kent is right for you.

We currently have 2 Open Day Events open for booking at Newman University.  We have a Virtual Open Day Event taking place in July and one live on campus event taking place in July.

You will still get to explore our green campus, sports facilities, industry-standard studios, on-campus accommodation and social spaces from the safety of your own home with our virtual tour.

When the event is on

While you can browse our virtual open day content year-round, when the event is running, you’ll get the chance to:

• live chat with our staff, including Residences, Admissions and Student Support teams
• live chat with academic staff and current students
• watch live webinars and ask questions.

We’d love to meet you at this Virtual Open Day. If you’re exploring your options, or you’ve already applied to study with us and received an offer, our Virtual Open Days are a great opportunity to chat with our staff and students. Learn all about our BU community, student life, accommodation, finance and your course of interest.

Our Open Days are a chance for you to explore Plymouth and the college, and to get a feel of what life’s like at an independent art school in Britain’s Ocean City. You can experience our state-of-the-art studios and workshops, explore our campus, talk to our programme leaders, visit the accommodation on offer and talk through any questions or queries you might have with our knowledgeable staff. We’ll have representatives from Student Finance, Admissions, Student Support and the Students’ Union on hand throughout your visit.

Our Open Days are a chance for you to explore Plymouth and the college, and to get a feel of what life’s like at an independent art school in Britain’s Ocean City. Get to know our campus and state-of-the-art facilities, speak live to our programme leaders and talk through any questions or queries you might have with our knowledgeable staff. We have representatives from Student Finance, Admissions, Student Support and the Student Body on hand throughout your visit.

You can to book a slot to speak to academics and course leaders, speak to support staff from our Student Support, Admissions, Finance and Accommodation Teams. You can also book a campus tour to take a look at our campus and facilities. * This will be subject to Government guidance and restrictions in place at the time.

For our on campus event you can book your chat with any of our academic/course tutors – these chats will be limited to 20 minutes and a maximum of 2 people (you can book more than 1 subject), you can also book your campus tour and chats with our support services, Finance, Admissions and Accommodation.
