She enjoys playing but she is also keen to learn more about coaching skills. Lauren wants to be assessed in netball and she has also decided on the Fitness and Health module which looks at how to exercise safely and effectively to improve health and well-being. To prepare herself she has joined her local fitness gym.

      3. Warm down/Cool down
        This involves some form of light exercise to help the body get rid of waste products produced during the main activity, like carbon dioxide and lactic acid.
        Further stretching helps to prevent the muscles becoming sore or stiff later on.
