Westminster Kingsway College is a further education provider based in the London boroughs of Westminster and Camden It offers education to 14-19 year-olds, as well as adult learners, and is one of the largest colleges in the city.
Background and history
In its current state the college has only been in existence since 2000 when a merger of Westminster College and Kingsway College occurred. The college's centre at Vincent Square has been recognised for much long, however. Westminster Kingsway College's School of Hospitality was formed one hundred years ago when a committee of concerned academics and hospitality representatives developed a school for professional cookery. Similarly, the college grounds at Soho centre have a much longer history, having been used to provide language courses since as early as 1913.
