New College Telford

New College Telford is a sixth form college situated in Wellington, an area within Telford, Shropshire. Telford College provides a first class learning environment for over 1400 learners from Telford and Wrekin and beyond. The college caters for 16 to 19-year-olds, but also offers part time courses to the rest of the community, principally adults.

Specialising in Advanced Level education at Level 3, New College Telford offers over 40 traditional academic A Level options. It also provides a wide range of technical skills programmes, with vocational courses including BTEC Certificates and Diplomas. A range of full time Intermediate Level courses at Level 2 are also available for those looking to gain relevant qualifications to enable them to progress, including GCSEs and BTEC Certificates.

Recording Studios New College has two fully equipped, sound-isolated Recording Studios. Both are equipped with a Mapex Drum Kit, a Marshall Guitar Amp, Bass Amp, Acoustic Panels, and a large selection of microphones and D.I. boxes. Students are able to book the studios out of lesson time to complete coursework upon completion of a studio license.

Graphics Studio The Graphic Design Studio has recently been updated to include a suite of the latest Apple Macintosh G5 iMacs. These powerful specialist computers are the equivalent to those used in modern graphics, design and animation industries. They are equipped with a host of professional software packages for image manipulation, 3D design, animation, video production and DVD authoring.
