Ulster University is a popular academic institution spread across several campuses in Northern Ireland, at Belfast, Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee, Derry. Each site has its own individual charm. Background and History

The early history of Ulster University can be traced back to the establishment of Magee College in 1865. This institution took the name Ulster Polytechnic in 1968, then the University of Ulster in 1984. Since then the institution has built a solid reputation for teaching and research.

By rail: Trains run daily between Belfast, Coleraine, Derry and Jordanstown.

By road: Motorists can access the campuses via the M1, M2 and M3.
