General information

Both Dewsbury College and Huddersfield Technical College have enjoyed healthy pasts and, through the Kirklees College venture, hope to enjoy a successful future together. Following the collaboration, Kirklees College is now one of the biggest colleges in the country with a vast range of courses and study options to choose from. The Dewsbury centre has three campuses in and around Dewsbury, including the Wheelwright Centre, which incorporates The Batley School of Art and Design. The Huddersfield Centre is based at New North Road, Huddersfield. However, a new campus is being constructed just off Manchester Road, adjacent to the River Colne, slightly outside of the Huddersfield town centre, at a projected cost of £85 million. Mission Statement: Creating opportunity, changing lives.
