Made up of two modern campuses located side-by-side just outside Hatfield, the University of Hertfordshire's state-of-the-art facilities can be found in miles of leafy parkland. An award-winning library and a selection of cafes and restaurants round out an attractive campus area.
Background and History
Formerly Hatfield Polytechnic, which specialised in computer science and engineering, the University now specialises in health-related courses, including nursing and midwifery. In 2008, it had the best research score of any post-1992 university.
Location and Accessibility
Hatfield is only twenty minutes away from London King's Cross, and can be reached via the A11. The campus is fully wheelchair accessible and the Disability Service can provide further assistance.

Entry Requirements
For Arts & Humanities: Applicants must have a C or above in English language and Maths to apply. 300 UCAS points from two or more A-Levels is the usual offer.
For Sciences & Engineering: 300 UCAS points from two or more A-Levels is the standard offer. All applicants must have achieved a C or above in English language and Maths.
