ABDO College was established in 2001 the Association of British Dispensing Opticians with the intention of raising the standards of optical education in the UK and beyond. Set in the heart of Godmersham Park, a 100 acre site in Kent, ABDO College is housed in a stunning building, with beautiful views across the North Downs.
ABDO College is the only UK college to teach the theoretical and practical aspects of ophthalmic dispensing, and as such it offers a wide range of courses to suit the differing needs of its students. This range from Access Courses for those without GCSEs, Foundation Degrees and Diplomas and Honours Degrees. By blending theoretical learning with practical work based training, ABDO College aims to give all of its students a fully rounded experience and education.
