Warrington Collegiate is the largest learning provider in Warrington, offering a wide range of vocational courses and apprenticeships. It recently underwent a £27 million redevelopment.

 

Background and history

The Warrington Collegiate is an alternative educational institution to the Priestly Sixth Form College, and is the most populous further education provider in the city of Warrington. It was the subject of a £27 million pound investment and has frequently been recognised for its sustainability and energy efficiency.

Location and accessibility

The main campus is located on the A49 and is directly accessible by car and bus. By rail, the campus can be reached by disembarking at Central Station and simply walking along the A49, passing Warrington Wolves RLFC along the way. The college also encourages cycling and has 50 cycle fixing points.

What's on offer?

The college specialises in vocational education for pupils aged 16+ in many subjects ranging from Accountancy to Travel & Tourism. Additionally, they offer partnerships with the Manchester United School of Excellence and the Warrington Wolves Education Academy. There is also the opportunity to enrol on apprenticeships, business training, adult learner courses and trade union education.
