This Advice Day is for students looking to start university in September 2022. It is particularly aimed at students applying through Clearing or for those who have Winchester as their insurance choice. You will have the opportunity to hear from our Executive Leadership Team, go on a Campus Tour, view our Student Villages and speak to academic and advice staff about studying at Winchester.

Guided walking tours around campus take place throughout the day and last approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour. Taking a campus tour provides a great opportunity to get a feel for the campus, see our facilities, and speak to one of our current students as they lead you round.

What will I learn? You’ll discover all the reasons why we have achieved an 82% satisfaction rate in the National Student Survey 2021 (NSS) from our personalised teaching model with small class sizes to our dedicated student support team, and beautiful, safe campus.

What happens at a Buckingham Open Day? Visitors will be welcomed by our Student Ambassadors and staff members and throughout the day will have the opportunity to: Ask questions to our staff and hear from our Vice-Chancellor; Chat to about what student life is really like at Buckingham with our current students; Meet our Accommodation team, Fees and Finance, Students’ Union, Student Welfare and Careers Service teams; Find out about our degrees and enjoy a taster session of your chosen subject with our teaching staff; Go on a guided tour of our campus and view our accommodation blocks; Relax, get some lunch and soak up the atmosphere on our beautiful riverside campus.

You’ll have the opportunity to tour the campus, speak to academics about your subject interests and take a look around our accommodation. The safety of the Keele community, including our students, staff and visitors is our top priority, we’ll continue to follow government guidance, keeping visitors updated with any changes that may need to be made to our open day plans.

Open Days are our largest event of the year and it is your chance to: sample the welcoming atmosphere here at York St John University; explore our beautiful campus and specialist facilities; find out more about our courses from the academic staff who teach them; meet the people who will support and inspire you as you study; meet our current students who can share their experiences of YSJ and get answers to all your questions about life at YSJ.

Attending an open day provides an opportunity for you, and your family, to see our beautiful campus. Student guides will take you on a tour of the halls of residence and faculty buildings, highlighting the wide range of impressive facilities and resources we offer.
