An Open Day is a great way to find out exactly what a university can offer you. You’ll get to chat to the lecturers and current students, and find out all about the subjects that interest you. Here’s what you can expect from an Open Day: Welcome talk – our Deputy Vice-Chancellor will give you a warm welcome to Huddersfield. Campus tours. Watch live course talks, learn about module options and placement/sandwich opportunities. Accommodation – explore your accommodation options and go on an accommodation tour. Student support – find out all about the support available to you including finance, disability and wellbeing, and careers. Chat to our students – get the lowdown on student life at Huddersfield. Come along with your family and friends, to get a good feel for life as a student. Don’t forget that when you book your Open Day, you’ll have the chance to pre-book your sessions.

Our location is in the heart of the City giving you exposure to the sector and gaining real insight into what it’s like to work in financial services. Opportunities to meet early-to-high industry professionals through our networking, careers and our Prestige Lectures. Our academic team have worked within the industry providing you with practical knowledge needed to apply that theory in the workplace. This Open Day is for students looking to start university in September 2023. You will have the opportunity to find out more about your course for example modules, assessments, teaching, trips and entry requirements. Additionally, you will be able to look around our campus and accommodation as well as speak to current students and staff about being a student at Winchester.

Our open events have academics available for one-to-one discussion, and some of the events will also include talks about specific subjects and support.

At each of our Ipswich open events there will be information stands where visitors can find out more about student accommodation, student finance, student services and the admissions process. We are offering on site campus tours of which you can book a place on our website. There will be a welcome talk. Academics representing all undergraduate and postgraduate degrees offered at our Ipswich campus will be available for informal discussion. We also have our live on-line chat were you can ask questions.

You can organise your day however you choose; here’s an idea of what you can expect: Welcome talks, from our main stage at Kedleston Road. Talks are scheduled for 15 minutes after your arrival time; Explore our campus – Make time to explore Kedleston Road, discover our amazing library, and state-of-the-art Sports Centre; drop in to our subject taster sessions, where you can talk to teaching staff about your course; and explore the facilities you’ll be using as a student; Join our students on a guided campus tour, and find out first-hand what it’s like to study at Derby; Take a tour of our award-winning accommodation. Our Open Days are a chance for you to explore the city as well as Plymouth College of Art, and to get a feel of what life’s like at an independent art school in Britain’s Ocean City. During your visit you will have the opportunity to tour our campus, visit the local student accommodation halls, speak with our academics and even hop on a bus and have a tour of the city.
