At our stunning 750 acre estate discover courses you may not have considered before – our Full-time courses and Apprenticeships include Equine Studies, Agriculture, Countryside & Environment Management, Floristry, Outdoor Adventure, Rural Business & Heritage Land Management, Aquaculture, Arboriculture, Construction, Horticulture and Animal Welfare & Science. Full-time further education courses start in September and Apprenticeships start throughout the year. Our staff will give visitors a welcome talk outside our Main House and you can find out about transport, financial support, uniform and more – please remember to check the weather forecast, you might need to bring a brolly! You will have the opportunity to explore our campus and visit your department of interest. You can speak to expert tutors and have any further questions answered. This is the our final open evening of the academic year and is the perfect way to discover all about us and find the right course for you. Whether you are an adult looking to re train or upskill, a school leaver looking for a 2022 course or year 9 or 10 student keen to plan early, you are all very welcome and we would be delighted to see you. Our Open House events are designed to allow prospective students, parents, teachers and careers advisors the chance to tour one or both campuses on the same day. Each Campus Tour will include the majority of our academic and social facilities, however, at this time we are unable to include student accommodation are/or clinical facilities. Sessions at 10:30am, 1:30am and 12:30pm also feature an Introductory Welcome Talk; the talks at Camden Campus and Hawkshead Campus are identical. We recommend visiting both campuses if you are interested in our Veterinary Medicine courses or just Hawkshead if you are considering studying for Veterinary Nursing (there is no teaching for this course in Camden). For the Biological Sciences courses, most of the teaching takes place in Camden, but the BSc Animal Behaviour, Welfare and Ethics course is based at Hawkshead for the final year. Postgraduate courses are mainly based at Camden, but many also share teaching with other establishments e.g. ZSL London and LSHTM.
