Coleg Gwent is the largest further education college in Wales. Young people can apply for full-time or part-time and higher education courses and become one of 24,000 students ranging from secondary school leavers, to mature students. Facilities at Coleg Gwent

Coleg Gwent has five campuses in the City of Newport, Pontypool, Usk, Crosskeys and Blaenau Gwent. The college also has two learning IT centres in Monmouth and Cwmbrn which offer flexible, drop-in courses on a range of information technology subjects.

The college has a training restaurant and hair and beauty salons at the Crosskeys Campus, Ebbw Vale, Newport and Pontypool, as well as workshops for engineering and construction courses.
