By rail: London based students can make their way to Chester using the high speed train service. There are also established links from Birmingham and Manchester. The journey from the North East to the the North West of England is particularly scenic.
By road: Located within a short drive of the M53, the campus is reasonably close to the city centre and is signposted from Northgate Street (A540). There are a variety of parking options available for visitors.

To be accepted onto most courses at the University of Chester students are expected to achieve at least 200 UCAS points. There is a fair amount of variation between courses, and it is worth reading the student handbook for subject specific information.

UK/EU:There is a good deal of variation in the fees charged for postgraduate taught programmes and it is therefore recommended that you get in contact with the University directly or visit their website.

Financial Support
Students may apply for a maintenance loan, while financial assistance in the form of tuition fee loans and University of Chester bursaries is also available.
Students are encouraged to register with a local GP upon arrival. Medical assistance is also provided by expert nursing staff in the on site clinics. There is also a dedicated faith space for use by individuals of different religions.
Chester has much to offer in the way of sports, boutique and luxury shopping. It is well worth spending a day watching the action at the local race course. During the evening students may enjoy a refreshing drink at the student union, or a dance at one of the local nightclubs. Many of the NorthWest's popular tourist attractions can be found in the nearby cities of Liverpool and Manchester.
