Central College Nottingham is a further education college based in Nottinghamshire. The College employs around 1000 full-time staff spread over 13 centres across Nottingham. Active Central incorporates a dedicated fitness centre and a purpose-built football centre. The Mellish Sports Centre in Bulwell offers a 28-station fitness centre, equipped with Technogym, a full size sports hall, conference room and IT Suite. The Charnwood Football Centre was completed in September 2008 as part of a £2.3 million development including a full sized floodlit astro turf football pitch and changing room facilities.
Furthermore, Central College has Hairdressing and Beauty Salons in Beeston, West Bridgford and Radcliffe on Trent. Run by students, the aim is to provide exceptional training for students in order to enable them to pursue a career in Hairdressing, Beauty and Holistic therapies.
