Carshalton College

Carshalton College is a further education college devoted to providing 16+ learning in the Carshalton area of the London Borough of Sutton, in South London. The College is located just 3 minutes walk away from Carshalton Station. Carshalton College has been providing education and training for over 50 years as the only Further Education College in Sutton. The college has connections with Canterbury Christ Church University, London South Bank University and Roehampton University and is one of many colleges seeking to bridge the gap between Further and Higher Education.

Carshalton College is committed to investing in the development and advancement of its facilities for its students. This includes modern training facilities and workshops from beauty and hair salons to electrical workshops. The College's most recent project was the construction of a new building on the College campus, to house a Leisure and Sports Centre, which opened in 2010.  

Other facilities include a nicely refurbished student common room, the courses diner and Nightingales Restaurant, which provides students with a nice place to eat, a prayer and contemplation room, music technology suite, care academy and a Learning Centre, which incorporates library services and an IT suite. There is also a Media Arts and Design Centre, The Cisco Networking Academy and a number of Engineering workshops.
