About Bridgwater College
Bridgwater College, located in Somerset, has main centres in Bridgwater and Cannington. It also has outreach centres in Bridgwater (Angel Place), Lufton near Yeovil and Paignton Zoo. Facilities at Bridgwater College
At the Cannington Centre facilities include a new golf course, an equestrian centre, a commercially run farm, glass houses covering 1,000m2, wildlife havens, a vineyard and the new animal management centre. The facilities at the Equestrian Centre include an indoor arena (42m x 22m), an outdoor arena (50m x 40m) and two stable blocks to house quality schooled horses, which cater for all riding abilities. A team of experienced British Horse Society qualified instructors provide the riding tuition.
The facilities at the main campus at Bridgwater include a television studio, forensics laboratory, a motorsport centre and the new £8 million building devoted to Health Fitness. The centre also houses numerous commercial units such as an early years centre, a beauty salon, a hair salon, a gym, and a travel agency.
The Paignton Centre has been established for over ten years and is situated within the grounds of Paignton Zoological Environmental Park. The Centre offers full time courses in Animal Care and Animal Management. It houses its own specialist library, IT suite, common room and collection of mammals and reptiles.
