About Strode College
Strode College provides education for school leavers and a selection of day and evening classes for adults. School leavers can choose between vocational courses, A Levels and apprenticeships in a wide variety of subject areas. Strode College was ranked the best performing college for A Levels in Somerset during a 2012 Ofsted inspection and Strode students are 13% more likely than the national average to get a place at university. Adult students can study for Diplomas or Higher Education qualifications, as well as GCSEs and A Levels. Strode College also offers 40 different apprenticeships in a wide range of industries, from Animal Care to Site Carpentry.

Strode College have invested over £12 million in their facilities, helping to make them modern and up-to-date. Facilities at Strode college include: Hair and Beauty Salons, a Dance Studio with fully sprung floors, a 3rd generation floodlit sports pitch, a Learning Centre with IT facilities and a library, and Strode College Day Nursery which was rated "outstanding" by Ofsted in 2010.
