By Rail: St. George's is closest to Tooting Broadway and Wimbledon Park Tube stations.
By Road: As with any London university, driving to campus is generally not advisable; if necessary, the university is accessible from the A24 or A3.
Accessibility: Most university facilities are wheelchair-accessible and accommodation is provided for students with disabilities.
Undergraduate courses currently cost £9,000 per year. Fees for international students and postgraduates vary.
Financial Support: A variety of scholarships and means-tested bursaries are available to undergraduates and postgraduates. Check the university website for more details.
As well as neighbouring St George's Hospital, the university medical school provides a large number of workstations, libraries and teaching rooms for students. Research facilities include special units for drug discovery, proteomic, genetic and toxicological research.
Although facilities are more limited than at other universities in London, St George's does have its own on-site student bar, sports centre, cafe and common rooms. A wealth of additional amenities (including access to sports pitches) are available through the University of London.
St George's doesn't need a medical centre - the university is its own hospital! A chaplaincy is also provided, alongside prayer rooms and a student counselling service.
The area immediately around the hospital features a golf course, lawn tennis courts, Deen City Farm and Wimbledon Common. Clapham is also home to a growing nightclub scene. For things cultural, students head to South Bank - home of the National Theatre, Tate Modern and Royal Festival Hall.
Graduate employability at St George's is extremely high given the nature of the courses taught at the institute. An impressive 91% of students find work within six months of leaving the university.
