St Helens College is a further education college serving the borough of St Helens in Merseyside. The college currently has over 7,500 students of all ages, studying on courses from Entry Level through to Degree Programmes and Professional Qualifications. It attracts students from across the North West and works with over 3,500 employers. St Helens College has spent the past few years in a new £57 million Town Centre Campus. The college has two campuses: one in the Town Centre and the Technology Centre at Pocket Nook
The College provides a wide range of further and higher education programmes. Qualifications include City and Guilds, National Diplomas, National Awards, National Certificates and NVQs, and also honours and foundation degrees validated through established partnerships with universities including Central Lancashire, Edge Hill, Huddersfield, Liverpool John Moores, Salford and Sheffield Hallam.
The impressive £57 million project transforming the Town Centre Campus of St Helens College is now complete. The new building provides stimulating well equipped learning environments with exciting state of the art delivery areas. Light and airy study areas combine with safe and secure user friendly' environments. The landscaped social gathering' areas give this building a real community feel.
The Gym - The College has invested heavily to produce excellent facilities for both sport and leisure activities. The Gym, based in St Helens town centre campus houses a brand new fitness suite and sports therapy suites.
The Flower Studio - St Helens - The staff and students of the floristry section at St Helens College run the college flower shop with designs to go' or will make traditional or diverse design fitting for any special occasion or event. The range of floral designs include gifts, funerals, weddings, functions. All of which are made by trained students and staff.
