The Royal College of Music was founded in 1882 and is one of the world's most respected conservatoires of music. The RCM has trained classical music greats such as Vaughan Williams and Benjamin Britten and is now home to 750 students from over 60 countries. Located in the heart of London, opposite the world-famous Royal Albert Hall, students at the RCM can choose to study at undergraduate, masters or doctoral level and are trained by highly qualified teachers who help them to achieve greatness as musicians, composers or conductors.

The Royal College of Music offers world-class, bespoke facilities to all of its students. The comprehensive library houses over 400,000 items of printed music and over 9,000 CDs. The college also features 58 teaching/practice rooms, 156 pianos and a range of stunning performance spaces, such as the Britten Theatre, which is one of London's most loved opera venues. Other performance spaces include the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall and the smaller and more intimate Recital Hall.
