The Royal Academy of Music is a conservatoire in London and the UK's oldest degree-granting music school. The school is a college of the University of London and houses over 700 students from over 50 countries, in over 20 musical disciplines. Established in 1822, the Academy later became the only conservatoire to be admitted as a full college to the University of London, thus its students receive University degrees.
The Royal Academy of Music offers a wide variety of training options at the Junior Academy, while the Senior Academy offers the LRAM diploma, B. Mus and PhDs.

As a modern conservatoire, it has state-of-the-art facilities, including over 100 teaching and practice studios, large concert rooms, electronic and recording studios, a Creative Technology Suite and a well-equipped library.
Other impressive facilities include the 120-seat David Josefowitz Recital Hall, the Sir Jack Lyons Theatre and the 400-seat concert venue - Duke's Hall.
