Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College close to Taunton, Somerset. Originally established in the 18th century, it became a Sixth Form College in 1979. It offers a wide range of courses including BTECs, A Levels and apprenticeships to students from 16 to 19 years-old. Some degree courses are available with the help of the University of Plymouth, St Mark and St John (UCP Marjon).
Richard Huish College received an 'Outstanding' rating from a recent Ofsted inspection and it is the main provider of apprenticeships in Taunton and Somerset. The College has a history of producing students who do better than expected, putting the institution in the top 5% of schools and colleges in the UK.

The Art Department benefits from a wide range of creative media, Drama and Theatre Studies take place in a black box studio above the main reception, and the Business BTEC has interactive teaching equipment.
The Arthur C Clarke Learning Centre has an amazing collection of books, films, music and other valuable resources as well as college-wide wireless internet.
The college stands out with the help of its Sport academy and Business School, which delivers an wide range of courses such as accounting and business across three buildings: Elmfield House, Linden House and Rowan House.
