About NCG
Newcastle College is one of the top performing colleges in the UK offering a wide range of flexible courses to suit everyone. Newcastle College was ranked, in the Department for Education league tables, as the best performing general FE college in England for 16-18 year old achievement for three years in a row from 2010 - 2012. In 2011 Newcastle College Corporation was awarded Foundation Degree Awarding Powers (FDAP) making Newcastle College one of only two college's in the UK who have the ability to validate their own Foundation degrees.

Courses & Fees
Newcastle College provides courses across a variety of subject areas and across the whole spectrum of qualifications from A levels to NVQ and Diplomas to access courses. The college also offers a range of HE qualifications. These include Foundation Degrees, Bachelor's Degrees and Masters Degrees. The college has over 3,000 HE students and is one of the biggest providers of HE in the UK.
Facilities at NCG
Lifestyle Academy September 2006 saw the opening of the £40m Lifestyle Academy offering the latest training resources for students studying hospitality, beauty, hairdressing, travel and tourism, and sport.
Performance Academy The £21m Performance Academy at Newcastle College is one of the UK's leading training centres for music, performing arts and media. The facility comprises a 250 seat theatre, ten recording studios, acting, music and dance studios and its own record label.
Energy Academy The Energy Academy in Wallsend is a centre of innovation, training and development for the offshore wind sector. The 20,000 sq ft centre provides skills training to employers within the renewable energies sector and to young people in the region.
