Merthyr Tydfil College Limited

Merthyr Tydfil College provides Further Education courses in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. Since 2013 it has been a college of the University of South Wales, but it is run as a separate organisation in order to provide Further Education to the local area. Over 2,000 students attend every year and choose from GCSEs, BTECs, A Levels, apprenticeships and access courses. Higher Education options are available with the help of the University of South Wales.

Merthyr Tydfil College has great facilities at both campuses - College Merthyr Tydfil and Redhouse. The first college campus has over 30 classrooms and 19 IT rooms with 8 additional Arts Practical Rooms. Students can benefit from great services at the 3 Hair Salons and 2 Beauty Salons and can spend their free time in the 600 m2 sports hall equipped with climbing wall.

Redhouse is the former Town Hall which has been leased by the Merthyr Tydfil Housing Association. This is the "creative" part of the college where Media, Film, Dance, Technical Theatre and Drama students have the opportunity to study in great facilities. Redhouse building provides a dance studio, recording studio and rehearsal rooms, plus a theatre, Mac rooms and Editing suites, as well as other teaching and performing spaces.
