Hopwood Hall College

Hopwood Hall College is a further education college based in Rochdale, in the north west of England. The college has two campuses, one in Rochdale and one in Middleton. The campuses are five miles apart, both to the north-east of Manchester. The college has a vocational focus but also offers other courses at university level as well as adult education. The college was officially opened in 1992.

The college prides itself on having excellent teaching and learning facilities and both campuses are well equipped. They have over 1300 PCs, learning resource centres, information centres offering advice and guidance, free college-wide internet access and college email accounts for all students. On both campuses, you will find a wide range of student essentials, including shops, cafes and bistros which open before lessons start, with a variety of food and drink available during the day and early evening. There is free car parking on both campuses, offered on a first-come first-served basis. Day nurseries for the children of students and staff are open during term time and cater for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. They also have conference and meeting facilities available all year round and residential accommodation for hire outside of term.
