Rail: Exeter has two railway stations: Exeter St David's (main station) and Central. The Streatham Campus is a 10-minute walk from Exeter St David's Station. Bus route D can be taken from Exeter Coach Station to Streatham campus and St Luke campus. The Cornwall campus is in Penryn, which has its own station. From Truro, trains to Falmouth stop at Penryn.
Road: From the M5 leave at Junction 29 (Exeter airport) and follow signs to the city centre. Then follow signs to the University.
The Disability Resource Centre offers individual support for students with specific learning, physical or mental health difficulties.
Undergraduate fees are currently set at £9,000 for UK/EU students. Fees for international students and postgraduates vary, for more information it is advisable to contact the university directly.
Financial Support
For students whose declared household income is below £25,000, partial fee waivers and fee reductions are available. If eligible, these partial fee waivers will be applied for each year of undergraduate study. A variety of means-tested bursaries and sport and music scholarships are also available.
The Streatham and St. Luke's campuses have a medical centre and Streatham campus also offers a counselling service and children's day-care facilities. Students in Cornwall should register with Penryn Medical Practice. The Chaplaincy also offers support to students.
Exeter has a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs and the new shopping centre has a range of 60 new shops and restaurants. For arts and cultural events, the Exeter Phoenix, Westpoint Venue and the University's Great Hall offer a good selection of concerts, exhibitions and live music. Nearby Exmouth boasts long sandy beaches and is perfect for watersports enthusiasts and sunbathers. Exeter is also close to the sweeping bays, dramatic cliffs and tiny fishing villages of Cornwall.
The Careers Service offers a range of information and resources on a variety of career and employability topics. Students can receive advice on planning careers, looking for jobs, writing CVs, preparing for interviews, finding work experience and internships and attending training and events.
