Lancaster Campus
By Road: Those travelling from the north should exit the M6 at Junction 34, following the signs for Lancaster city centre. Visitors from the south should leave the M6 at Junction 33.
By Rail: Lancaster is on the main West Coast line, the university campus in the town is 20 minutes from the station.
Carlisle Campus
By Road: Visitors from north or south should exit the M6 at either Junction 43 or 44 depending on which of the two sites they require.
By Rail: Both Carlisle campuses are only a short distance from the station, sitting as it does on the London to Glasgow West Coast line.
Penrith Campus
By Road: Exit the M6 at Junction 40, then follow the signs to the university campus.
By Rail: As well as being on the main West Coast line, Penrith is also easily accessible from Carlisle. The campus is a short taxi-ride from the station.
Accessibility: Most university facilities are wheelchair-accessible and the Learning, Information and Student Services team (LISS) provides extensive help to students with disabilities or dyslexia. Students can discuss their needs with the team at any point before or during their studies.
In 2014, undergraduate courses cost £9,000 per year. Fees for international students and postgraduates vary.
