We are excited to welcome you onto our campus. Visiting Northumbria University means you can meet academic staff and students, explore our facilities, experience your course and tour our accommodation. Our on campus open day events will help you discover how Northumbria is leading the way in your subject, by meeting some of the academics you might be taught by and hearing from current students about their experiences. You’ll gain an insight into your chosen subject’s department and will be able to explore the facilities available, as well as our wider campus.

You’ll have the opportunity to tour the campus, speak to academics about your subject interests and take a look around our accommodation. The safety of the Keele community, including our students, staff and visitors is our top priority, we’ll continue to follow government guidance, keeping visitors updated with any changes that may need to be made to our open day plans.

Our campus will be open 9am-4pm and you will be able to: join subject sessions and meet with academics; visit our accommodation; explore subject stands, student life hub, our sports centre and libraries; get a real taste for campus life on a student-led campus and Students’ Union tour; find out what it’s like to be a student at Newcastle from our Student Guides; As soon as our programme is ready we will email it to you. Our Open Days give you the opportunity for you to explore our beautiful campuses each with their own unique characteristics and excellent facilities. Explore the Lancaster campus for our Institute of Education, Institute of Health, and our Institute for Business, Industry and Leadership. During the day our expert academic staff will be running subject talks where you can get a real flavour of the course and see how passionate and enthusiastic our tutors are about their specialist subject. Our academics will be on hand after these sessions to answer any questions you may have about your course of interest. In addition, we will be running a series of optional workshops throughout the day where you can find out information about the application process, accommodation, fees and finance and student support. Complimentary refreshments will also be provided for you and your guests on the day. Our Lancaster Campus open day takes you just off the main road through Lancaster. Our campus is a hub of fresh thinking, education, and high achievement. Now home to some of our most popular courses in Education, Health, Sport, and Business, it’s a place to be inspired, be part of a strong community, and be supported as you develop the skills you need to take you to the very top. Studying here gives you access to realistic facilities, including sport performance labs, an x-ray and ultrasound suite, training wards and ambulance simulators, alongside teacher training rooms. Please note that this event is for the 2023/24 intake. Our Open Days allow you to gain insight into all aspects of student life at our vibrant Musical Theatre Department. You’ll experience our singing and acting workshops and explore our facilities. Our faculty staff and current students will be on hand to answer any burning questions you may have.
