Join us on Tuesday May 10 at 2pm for our In-Person Open Event and find out everything you need to know about living and studying in Hereford. You will have the opportunity to hear from staff and students talking informally about the courses, view our specialist workshops, and ask us any questions about studying at Hereford College of Arts. We like nothing better than welcoming prospective students, family and friends to our Open Events and are really excited to share this experience with you. Our PGCE Teacher Training Open Day will give you the chance to talk to academic staff and students about the Primary and Secondary PGCE courses we run, the variety of study routes including University-led, School Direct and SCITT, and the hundreds of schools that we work in partnership with across Yorkshire. You’ll also find out about the application process and receive tips on how to prepare for your interview, as well as having the chance to find out more about student finance and the support on offer at Leeds Trinity.

Our virtual careers in maritime open day will give you an insight into what a career in the maritime industry has to offer, and the training programmes to qualify as a ship’s navigation (deck), engineer or electro-technical officer in the Merchant Navy and on superyachts. Many of the major British shipping companies and recruitment and training companies who recruit cadets will be available to give information about the career opportunities they offer. Our teaching staff are also on hand to talk about the academic side of training.
