By Rail: The nearest rail connection to the university campuses is Barnes Station, a mile north. The nearest Tube station is East Putney, two miles from campus.
By Road: Driving to Roehampton can be tricky given the limited space for parking on campus. Access is easiest via the M4 through Chiswick.Accessibility: Most university facilities are wheelchair-accessible and accommodation is provided for students with disabilities.
Financial Support: A variety of scholarships and means-tested bursaries are available to undergraduates and postgraduates. Check the university website for more details.
On campus is a medical centre offering GP services and sexual-health screening. The university has an active chaplaincy, with groups in place to support those of Hindu, Jewish and Islamic beliefs.
Golf and tennis, mainly: with two eighteen-hole greens and the National Tennis Centre on the university's doorstep, sporting students are well-provided for. Fulham's Craven Cottage is also close. Putney is full of green spaces and Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park are nearby, so it's easy to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Equally, the bright lights of the London are never too far away; the centre of the capital is a Tube-ride away and nearby Clapham is great for nights out.
Student employability is high at Roehampton, the university regularly ranks as best for graduate employment among British universities created after 1992. Sandwich courses are available for students wanting to gain work experience while they learn.
