About Loughborough College
Loughborough College is a Further Education College in Leicestershire, established in 1909. It is located opposite Loughborough University on Epinal Way, and adjacent to the Loughborough University School of Art and Design, situated next to the main entrance of the college. The College offers a range of courses including Further Education, Higher Education, Apprenticeships and Professional Qualifications. The College has over 11,000 students and over 850 staff. The College has an extensive campus, unusual amongst British colleges as it provides Halls of Residence on site, normally attributed only to Higher Education level and above, and its students are members of the same Union as those studying at the University and RNIB College.

Facilities at Loughborough College
Facilities provided on site include the Radmoor Centre, which accommodates the Loughborough Sports Centre, the Futures Restaurant and the Elite Hair Beauty and Complementary Therapies salons. Recent additions also include a state-of-the-art Technology Centre.
The main college site also has a Student Union shop and other facilities (such as the Students Union building) are shared with the nearby University campus, although a catered Students Union Common Room is provided within the main college building. Support services provided include support for students with learning difficulties or disabilities, accommodation in a variety of Halls of Residence, most with in-room network connections and some with en-suite facilities, and a team of persons employed to provide advice concerning student welfare, finance, etc., a student liaison and enrichment team, counselling service and a day nursery.
There is an extensive Learning Resources Centre providing a range of paper and electronic resources, and the college has significant numbers of networked computers, and has invested heavily in additional tools and equipment such as touch-screen presentation white boards in lecture and practical teaching rooms.
