General information
The Leeds College of Building delivers a comprehensive range of courses related to construction and the built environment, across Leeds and Nationally. Including apprenticeships, further and higher education and business training. The College is based at 6 sites across Leeds, each specialising in its own trade.The College has received commendation on the high quality tuition, facilities and resources that the College provides and this is reflected in the success rates of its students. The college as a whole has Centre of Vocational Excellence status.
Building and construction courses are available at all levels and range from practical, work related programmes designed to prepare students for work in a variety of trades, to academic courses that will help them progress to further study.
Types of Courses available are:- Apprenticeships- Advanced Apprenticeships- Distance on-line learning- Full-time courses- Part-time courses- Higher Apprenticeships- OSAT- Professional- and Short Courses. These courses can be done in wide-ranging subjects, of both a practical and technical nature, such as Architecture, Joinery, Carpentry, Plastering, Plumbing, Engineering.
As specialists in Construction the college provides first class facilities and specialist training workshops across a number of construction trades.

North Street: HECM, Plastering, HV, some Plumbing, Wall and Floor Tiling, all Timber trades, Team Ed and CAD
Millwright Street: Painting Decorating, Signmaking and Plumbing
Parkside Lane: Plumbing and Gas
Lockwood Way: Electrical, AM2 Centre
Stourton: Brickwork and Roofing
